Job Description
LHH is seeking a dedicated and experienced Controller to join a leading non-profit organization based in the Triad area of NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and management to oversee the organization's financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily accounting functions, including supervising a staff of 3-5
· Administer approved accounting policies and procedures throughout the organization and assist in the preparation of the operating budget.
· Coordinate the monthly accounting close and distribute monthly financial reports.
· Prepare quarterly financial statements and facilitate the annual audit process.
· Develop and monitor grant-funded and other program budgets, coordinating with grant writers and program staff for applications and reporting.
· Maintain effective cash control and coordinate the operational banking needs of the association.
Ideal and Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in accounting
· 3-5 years of accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
· Proficient in accounting software applications and a working knowledge of internal controls, GAAP, and non-profit reporting standards.
· Strong communication, technology, analytical, and management skills.
· Ability to multitask effectively and efficiently, with a commitment to the organization's mission.
· Demonstrated ability to train and supervise employees regarding accounting procedures, policies, and budgets.

Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
