Your primary focus will be operating both manual and automated processes within our Detection lab. Beyond that, you'll have the chance to contribute to various lab workflows, including sample prep, PCR, general lab upkeep, and even assisting in Library Creation. Responsibilities
The candidate will be working collaboratively with a large production team to deliver daily and weekly genotyping targets under tight deadlines.
The candidate will primarily be responsible for operating manual and automated lab processes in the Detection lab.
The role may also include additional various tasks in sample prep, PCR, general lab stocking, supply upkeep and working in the Library Creation space (Detection Lab).
The candidate will also be expected to help other lab spaces out in their workflows.
Role is 100% on-site (no hybrid or work from home model)
*Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
Candidates with experience in fast paced settings (even non-lab related; i.e. restaurants/ retail/ shipping) are usually high performers on our team.
Attention to detail, strong work ethic, sense of urgency, excellent communication skills, good organizational skills, ability to make decisions independently.
Intermediate skills in Office Applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Spotfire, Outlook; Advanced/Proficient skills in Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
