This organization is the fastest growing division within its parent company, boasting a turnover of over €1 billion. The purpose of this organization is to identify and serve underserved markets, consumers, channels, and brands, working closely with the company's Business Units.

JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a dynamic Brand Manager to lead in-store activations, POSM deployment, and influencer marketing initiatives for our various categories and brands. This role requires close collaboration with agencies to execute influencer activations and working alongside Customer Development teams to ensure seamless execution on the ground. You’ll pioneer brand seeding models, leverage digital and shopper marketing to build brands rapidly. You’ll partner Business Development teams to analyse the market and lead cross-functional teams to land innovations in market fast with impact.

Key Responsibilities

Identifying and Capitalising on Growth Opportunities

• Evaluating, analysing and mapping opportunities and recommending strategic innovation and launches

• You will need to lead the cross functional team to deliver these innovation launches based on customer deadlines.

• You will support the business development team in rolling out these launches and evaluate success to pivot for the future.

Driving Marketing Strategy

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goals.

• Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and potential threats.

• Analyse competitors and market conditions to adjust strategies accordingly.

• Your plans will include all channels from ATL to BTL and in store.

Business Performance Analysis & Planning

• Supporting Business Development managers to ensure on time In Full delivery of key strategic projects and targets

• Managing Annual Joint Business Planning

• Use analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

• Generate regular reports to communicate key performance indicators and ROI.

Campaign Management:

• Plan, execute, and monitor multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social media, events, etc.).

• Plan and execute in-store activations to drive brand engagement and sales.

• Oversee POSM (Point of Sale Materials) deployment across key retail channels.

• Collaborate with agencies to develop and implement influencer marketing campaigns.

• Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.

• Measure and report on the performance of campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

Brand Management:

• Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels.

• Develop and enforce brand guidelines.

• Work with creative teams to produce compelling marketing materials.

Stakeholder Management:

• Fostering strong relationships with wider Marketing team to share best practices and learnings

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with sales, product development, and other teams to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives and brand activation/growth in key markets.

• Provide guidance and support to the marketing team.

Relationship Building:

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and industry influencers.

• Identify and explore partnership opportunities to enhance marketing reach.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Brand Manager, Assistant Brand Manager, or Trade Marketing Manager role

• Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices

• Excellent leadership and communication skills in English & French

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

• Proficient in using marketing software and tools

• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Experience working in cross-functional teams within a matrix environment both F2F and virtually

• Strong project management, stakeholder collaboration, and executional excellence

• Location Flexibility: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Côte d’Ivoire, DRC, or Senegal
