Job Title: Data engineers Location: Charlotte, NC About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Engineer to join our team on a contract basis.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure and services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work closely with DevOps, application development, and security teams to implement cloud solutions that align with our business goals.

Responsibilities: * Design and implement GCP-based solutions to support scalable and secure applications.

* Manage and monitor cloud resources, services, and security using GCP-native tools.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide cloud architecture guidance.

* Support CI/CD pipeline integration and configuration on GCP.

* Perform cost optimization, security hardening, and performance tuning.

* Troubleshoot issues across cloud services and applications.

* Ensure compliance with security and operational best practices.

Requirements: * Proven experience as a Google Cloud Engineer or similar role.

* Robust understanding of GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, etc.

* Proficiency with, Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.

* Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Cloud Build). * Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). * Solid grasp of cloud security principles and IAM configuration.

* Google Cloud certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect or Cloud Engineer) is a plus.

* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.

* Familiarity with monitoring tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Datadog.

* Understanding of networking, DNS, VPC, and firewall configurations in GCP
