Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) partners with prime contractors to provide professional services. Key service areas include Engineering Design and Documentation; Software Development and Testing; System Integration, Testing and Evaluation; Lab Management and Field Installation; Integrated Logistics Support, Training Development and Delivery, Multimedia Support, and Technical System Support.
Cloud Engineer - DevOps, Cloud Computing, Cluster Computing Job Description:
Performs tasks as part of the Development of a private cloud and microservices containerization development. The Cloud Engineer will be expected to participate in all phases of the Software lifecycle to include: Design, Development, Integration and Test.
Cloud Engineer - DevOps, Cloud Computing, Cluster Computing Required Skills:
· Experience with at least one of the following: C, Python, Bash, C++, Java.
· Experience with Containerization and/or Orchestration, in one of the following: Kubernetes, RKE 2, Docker, Podman, K3s, Open shift or similar technologies.
· Experience with Linux relative to scripting or software development efforts.
· Software integration and troubleshooting experience.
Cloud Engineer - DevOps, Cloud Computing, Cluster Computing Desired Skills:
Good working knowledge of Redhat Linux a plus.
Docker Registry a plus.
Kubernetes Plugins like ISTIO, MetalLB, mutlus, flannel, haproxy, helm a plus.
Cloud Engineer - DevOps, Cloud Computing, Cluster Computing Additional Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineer or related discipline and at least 1 year of experience; or equivalent experience/combined education.
· Effective oral and written communication skills.
· Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance and must have at least an interim clearance to start.
