Python DevOps Engineer

Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid)

4 Month Assignment

Pay Rate: $77/hr.

On behalf of our client a computer technology company. We are seeking a Python DevOps Tools Engineer candidate, specializing in developing and automating tools within their CI/CD framework. You will leverage Python and DevOps expertise to enhance software development lifecycle, collaborating closely with the Product Security Assurance team to implement secure practices aligned with the Secure Software Development Framework (SSDF).

Key Responsibilities:

Develop Python-based tools to automate and optimize CI/CD processes, enhancing efficiency and reliability.

Integrate automated vulnerability scanning, code quality checks, and compliance validation into the CI/CD pipeline.

Optimize infrastructure and tooling to streamline software delivery, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and security.

Collaborate with the Product Security Assurance team to meet security standards and SSDF requirements.

Design solutions to enhance software quality and security throughout the development lifecycle.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tools, CI/CD pipeline, and infrastructure automation.

Skills:

Expertise in Python for developing automation tools and frameworks.

Strong DevOps experience focusing on CI/CD pipeline development and optimization.

Familiarity with secure software development practices (e.g., SSDF).

Experience with automation tools, vulnerability scanning, and code quality checks.

Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to optimize systems for efficiency and security.Company Description
