Job Description

We are actively seeking multiple Software Algorithm Engineers with a specialized focus on ultrasonic sensor (USS) technology for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) applications. Professional experience working with ultrasonic sensors in a production or R&D automotive environment is required. This role will contribute to the development of functional ADAS systems by transforming raw ultrasonic sensor data into actionable outputs that support vehicle autonomy and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement algorithms to interpret and utilize raw data from ultrasonic sensors in ADAS functions.

Apply expert knowledge of ultrasonic sensors to enhance vehicle perception and close-range object detection capabilities.

Design and validate functional ADAS systems using USS data, ensuring robust and reliable performance across operating conditions.

Collaborate with system architects, hardware engineers, and software teams to integrate and calibrate USS-based ADAS features.

Conduct comprehensive testing and performance analysis to ensure algorithms meet system-level requirements and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:

Proven, hands-on professional experience working with ultrasonic sensors in ADAS applications.

Strong understanding of the principles, limitations, and practical deployment of ultrasonic sensors in automotive systems.

Demonstrated ability to process and convert raw USS data into meaningful, real-time decision-making inputs for driver assistance functions.

Experience in designing and executing validation plans for USS-related ADAS functionality.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with sensor fusion techniques combining USS with radar, camera, or LiDAR inputs.

Experience with calibration procedures for ADAS systems, especially those involving USS components.

Background in embedded systems programming with awareness of real-time constraints in automotive ECUs.

Understanding of ISO 26262 and other relevant automotive safety standards and regulations.

Strong system-level thinking, with ability to optimize software functionality in alignment with hardware and vehicle dynamics.Company Description
