Title: Infrastructure Engineer with Linux

Location: Hybrid in Cincinnati, OH (Local candidates only)

Contract Duration: 6+ Months with long term

Experience Needed: Proven experience managing and maintaining Linux-based systems

Job Description:

The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining Linux-based systems in a hybrid work setting for Client. The ideal candidate will be an independent, confident problem-solver with a strong background in automation tools and cloud technologies. Experience with AIX, GPFS/Storage Scale, and virtualized environments is highly desirable.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Maintain and manage Linux systems ensuring optimal performance and availability

· Utilize tools like Ansible for automation and configuration management

· Support and manage AIX and GPFS/Storage Scale environments

· Work with cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud

· Administer and troubleshoot VMWare infrastructure

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure solutions

Must Haves:

· Hands-on Linux administration experience

· Experience with Ansible

· Familiarity with AIX and GPFS/Storage Scale

· Experience with Azure or Google Cloud

· Proven track record of managing and maintaining Linux-based systems

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

· Experience with VMWare
