Job Description
We are currently looking for a Belt Fabricator for our client who is a manufacturer of conveyor belting. We are looking for a belt fabricator (cutting and preparing belts to finished dimensions from bulk roll stock). This involves cutting belts manually (with a knife/straight edge) and finishing with various machinery to prepare and/or splice the ends. The belts are then shipped to the customer via UPS or via freight carriers.
Perform fabrication of belts and provide back-up assistance for service when needed in the field.
On the Job Training
After completing the probationary period you will begin to travel to customer sites to install belts on the conveyors. This requires traveling to the site with equipment, getting it into the building and setting it up in the plant to splice the belts while following Forbo Siegling and the customer's safety guidelines.
The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following:
• Capable of working at heights (primarily on installations)
• 40-Hours a week
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Be able to pass a drug test
• Must be able to lift 100 lbs
• Possible travel for installations after learning the business
• Steel-toe boots and safety glasses are required

• Available for overtime, weekends as necessary
Benefits:
Hourly pay: $20-21 with bonus and overtime opportunities
Schedule: M to F from 8am to 4:30pm
