As we scale, we're looking for a versatile and experienced Controller to manage our financial operations and play a key strategic role in our growth.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants to expand their career. You will be the sole member of our accounting and finance team, responsible for the full spectrum of financial management, including accounting, HR administration, insurance management, and SaaS subscription oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

Own all aspects of accounting: A/R, A/P, general ledger, financial statements, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting

Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and HR compliance

Manage commercial insurance policies (general liability, workers' comp, etc.)

Monitor and manage company SaaS subscriptions and software licenses

Support financial reporting for investors or executive leadership

Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements

Drive operational efficiencies across departments through financial insight

Partner with the leadership team to support strategic planning and decision-making

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)

3+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience

Experience in a SaaS/Subscription management software strongly preferred

Comfortable operating as both a strategic partner and hands-on executor

Strong understanding of HR processes, benefits administration, and insurance

Experience with Professional Service companies and time billing processes

Self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills

Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
