Commercial Superintendent

Job Description

The Superintendent is responsible for all activities at the construction site, including providing a safe and productive work environment, coordinating subcontractors and maintaining the project schedule. Candidate must have applicable work experience with a proven track record, highly motivated, with autonomous capability. Candidate must understand construction sequences of all trades; capable of discerning non-conforming work. Drug screen and criminal background check is required due to work performed at educational and governmental facilities.

Superintendent Responsibilities:

Supervises, coordinates and organizes all project activities, subordinate employees, material suppliers and subcontractors. Provides a safe working environment for all personnel at the construction site. Maintains project schedule and workflow. Conducts subcontractor coordination and safety meetings.

Superintendent Requirements:

Exhibit knowledge and fluency with Microsoft Office software. Comprehensive understanding of commercial construction processes. Strong decision making and problem solving capability. Display superior time management and organizational skills.
