Job Title: Finance Controller

Location: Springfield, MO (hybrid)

Salary: $80,000–$125,000 (Competitive and based on experience)

Position Overview:

We seek an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Director to lead financial planning, reporting, and management functions. The ideal candidate will oversee the company’s financial operations, provide strategic guidance, and ensure the efficient allocation of resources. This role involves working with a dynamic team to support decision-making processes and drive financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure alignment with company goals.

Monitor financial performance, prepare comprehensive financial reports, and present insights to senior leadership.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and standards.

Oversee cash flow management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll operations.

Lead financial audits and ensure accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.

Collaborate with leadership to develop financial plans for future projects and initiatives.

Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiencies.

Evaluate financial risks and provide recommendations to mitigate exposure.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).

Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or a similar role.

Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with financial software and tools, including advanced Excel skills.

Outstanding communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Demonstrates a strong spirit of service, maintains a positive attitude, and excels in giving and receiving constructive feedback.

Proficient in Google Workspace, reporting tools, standard office equipment, and operating systems including Windows and macOS.
