Job Description
Our client is an Engineered-to-Order manufacturer, providing material handling and containment solutions for several industries (Data Center, Municipal Facilities, Oil & Gas, Agriculture, Chemical, etc.). They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team to assist in implementing, optimizing, and programming new manufacturing equipment investments at their facilities (4 fabrication locations in the US).
Anticipate $110K-$140K base
Potential 10% bonus

Responsibilities:
Program and optimize laser systems (e.g., Amada, Mitsubishi) using SigmaNEST, including adjusting cut parameters for efficiency
Troubleshoot equipment issues (e.g., lasers, pumps, motors) when maintenance teams need support
Support capital projects, including equipment installations (e.g., Fanuc robots, lasers), coordinating vendors, electricians, and contractors
Create 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD or Inventor for tooling and conveyor systems
Collaborate with maintenance, production, and leadership to reduce backlog and improve processes
Travel 25% to other company facilities for equipment support and projects
Contribute to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizens)
Qualifications:
BS in Mechanical, Industrial, or related engineering field preferred
5-10 years of manufacturing or industrial engineering experience
Project management or lean manufacturing experience a plus
Proficiency in laser programming (e.g., SigmaNEST) and equipment troubleshooting
Experience with AutoCAD (2D) or Inventor (3D) for drawings
Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
Willingness to travel 25%
