Clean Harbors is seeking a Class B CDL Truck Operator to expertly handle light and heavy-duty trucks and work equipment at various customer sites. You will operate vehicles such as Vacuum Trailers, roll-off trailers, van trailers, box trucks, and high-powered vacuum loaders. In this role, you'll be responsible for both driving and essential non-driving tasks related to hazardous waste clean-up.

Key Responsibilities:
Prioritize health and safety by complying with all regulations and guidelines.
Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed, fostering a team-oriented environment.
Safely load and unload trucks.
Ensure customer satisfaction during service delivery.
Properly placard vehicles to meet company and DOT regulations.
Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various compliance reports.
Adhere to local, state, and federal compliance regulations.
Operate vehicles in line with U.S. DOT guidelines.
Follow all corporate safety procedures and environmental guidelines.
Handle additional duties as assigned.
Be available for on-call emergency response on a rotating basis every other week.
Engage in site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous material handling.
Required Qualifications:
Valid Class B CDL.
Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
Proficient in using various mobile devices.
Must be able to perform physical tasks as per job requirements.
Pass a background check, drug test, and physical examination.
Meet facial hair standards as per OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as a commercial driver.
Possession of Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
Previous hazardous materials experience.
Ability to operate a manual transmission.
Experience in manual labor roles.
