Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
JOB SUMMARY
Join our dynamic team as a CDL Driver! You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and pickup of containers at various customer locations. We are looking for individuals who are committed to providing exceptional service while maintaining a strong rapport with our customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism for loading and unloading containers safely while adhering to all safety regulations.
Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and lift.
Adapt to add-on delivery requests as needed based on business requirements.
Utilize a company-provided handheld device for delivery verification and navigation.
Effectively operate a forklift and/or overhead crane.
Clean and inspect containers to ensure they are customer-ready.
Coordinate rental agreements and payments with customers.
Communicate effectively with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries and issues. Prepare driver notes when necessary.
Perform repairs on containers and lifts both in the field and at the storage center.
Assist with storage center functions if required.
Maintain a tidy truck cab, ensuring it is free of debris inside and outside.
Other duties may also be assigned as required.
MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position typically reports to Management, including roles such as Market Manager or Territory Manager.
Position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities over other employees.
Pay Range: $24.00 - $24.00 per hour. General Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance plans available. Paid Time Off and safety bonuses are offered for driver positions. Boot vouchers and uniforms provided.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid CDL Class B License required without air brake restriction.
Must maintain a current/valid driver license.
Must meet our Driver Qualification Standards.
Must be at least 21 years of age (insurance requirement).
Possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or the ability to obtain at least a 1-year certification (DOT requirement).
Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software preferred.
Possess sufficient math skills to perform required duties.
Equivalent combination of education, training, or experience may be considered.
Ability to participate in a required 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
