Purpose of Position: This position provides technical support to manufacturing engineers in designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes and systems. The work is performed in the manufacturing and production environment.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

Developing and implementing manufacturing processes: The manufacturing engineer technician helps develop and implement manufacturing processes, including designing and testing production methods, analyzing production costs, and identifying areas for improvement.

Maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment: They are responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment, ensuring that equipment is in good working order, and minimizing downtime.

Quality control: They are responsible for ensuring that manufactured products meet quality standards and specifications.

Data analysis: They collect and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.

Documentation and reporting: They document manufacturing processes and procedures, prepare reports, and communicate findings to other production team members.

Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Qualifications:

Associate degree or equivalent work experience in engineering, engineering technology, design technology, or a related field, preferred.

At least 2 years of experience manufacturing electro-mechanical equipment.

Experience with advanced troubleshooting of complex electrical and mechanical systems.

Experience with unmanned aircraft and camera gimbal systems.

Knowledge of actionable imagery for small UAS tactical operations industry. Physical Demands of Position:

Physically able to lift up to 20 pounds (materials/equipment)

Effective use of computer, laptop, cell phone and other mobile device to exchange information. Competencies and Skills Requirements:
