Last Energy is seeking a reliable and hardworking Operations Technician to support our operations team in Austin. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to the success of our groundbreaking projects. The Operations Technician will assist with a variety of tasks, including site preparation, equipment handling, and general operational support, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Assist with the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of work sites and equipment
Perform manual labor tasks such as loading, unloading, and transporting materials
Support the operations team in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision, following safety protocols
Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule
Adapt to evolving project needs and assist with additional duties as assigned Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or general labor is a plus but not required
Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset
Willingness to learn and follow instructions in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
Basic understanding of workplace safety practices; training will be provided as needed
CDL is a plus but not required
Familiarity with CAD software is a plus but not required
Shop floor interface experience is a plus
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in various weather conditions
Legally authorized to work in the United States
$20 - $38 an hour
