JOB SUMMARY
Join our team as a Class B CDL Driver, responsible for the safe and effective delivery and pickup of containers at customer locations. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service while maintaining an excellent rapport with our customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely drive and operate a commercial truck featuring a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers.
Conduct and log daily pre and post-trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift.
Handle add-on deliveries as needed to meet business requirements.
Utilize company handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation.
Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane as necessary.
Clean and inspect containers to ensure they meet our high standards before delivery.
Assist customers with rental paperwork and payment coordination.
Communicate effectively with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries or issues.
Perform repairs on containers and lifts, both in the field and at the storage center.
Provide support for storage center functions as required.
Maintain cleanliness of the truck cab, inside and out.
May perform additional duties as assigned.
MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position typically reports to Management, specifically to roles such as Market Manager or Territory Manager.
Job is NOT responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination, pay decisions, performance management).
Pay Range: $24.00 per hour

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid CDL Class B License required without air brake restriction.
Must maintain a current/valid driver license.
Must meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards.
Must be at least 21 years of age (insurance requirement).
Possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or the ability to obtain a minimum one-year certification (DOT requirement).
Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software preferred.
Possess sufficient math skills to perform required duties.
Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
Ability to attend the required two-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
