Description

ICA is currently seeking an online Bengali Language Instructor. The candidates should have at least two years of experience teaching the target language in a proficiency-oriented environment to adult students on an intensive basis.

Candidates must be US Citizens

Job Details:

Period of performance: 5/19/25 - 6/22/25

Schedule: part-time, evenings and weekends, TBA pending student request

Training hours: 20 instructional hours (no prep)

Total hours: students can request additional 20-hour blocks of hours, but must be able to commit to completing all hours by program end date of 6/22/25

Training type: familiarization

Training goal: no formal goals

Testing format: no testing planned

Number of students: 1

Rate: $22.00-$23.00

The training program will include homework activities and should focus on developing language skills such as: speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and culture.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

Two years of full-time experience teaching adult students

Bachelor’s degree in related field

Native speaker of the Bengali language

Teaching experience with Zoom online platform preferred.
