Part-time Hybrid (80% Virtual + 20% Madison, WI-based Events)
Start Date: May–June 2025
Little Light Solutions (LLS) is growing, and we’re looking for a reliable, creative, and people-first Virtual Executive Assistant to join us on a contract basis. If you’re an organized go-getter who’s values-aligned, AI-curious, and loves helping small businesses thrive — this might be your dream role.
This is a flexible, remote-friendly role with the opportunity to attend local events in Madison, WI 1–3 times per month. You’ll support the founder directly at first, and over time, there’s potential to grow into a larger role as the business and client needs expand.
We’re especially excited about folks who have some experience but are looking for a place to grow. You don’t have to be an expert in every tool or task listed — what matters most is that you’re organized, values-aligned, and ready to commit to learning and building alongside the business.
What You'll Be Doing
In your first 6–12 months, you’ll focus primarily on supporting LLS with:
Creating graphics for social media and workshops using Canva
Assisting with calendar management and meeting scheduling
Managing social media (Buffer, content repurposing, engagement, drafting posts using AI tools)
Utilizing AI tools (like ChatGPT) for technical writing, content transformation, and marketing ideas
Supporting email marketing by drafting newsletters, building simple funnels, and helping optimize our outreach in platforms like Kit
Updating project management boards in Monday.com by turning notes into tasks and helping organize next steps across platforms
Reviewing networking connections after events, fostering relationships, and increasing outreach with potential clients, partners, and community members
Attending select client events, fundraisers, or networking meetups (paid time)
Helping build foundational systems and processes alongside the founder
We’d Love to Work With Someone Who:
Has some hands-on experience in Canva, social media management, email platforms, and tools like Monday.com, Buffer, Squarespace, or QuickBooks Online
Has a general understanding of AI tools (like ChatGPT, Canva Magic Write, Gemini, etc.) and how to use them for writing, brainstorming, or improving efficiency
Is detail-oriented and naturally organized — you notice the little things and follow through
Can manage their own time and priorities effectively
Is open to training, mentorship, and learning new systems — with a willingness to invest in this role for the long term
Enjoys creating smooth systems, solving problems, and building alongside others
Values honesty, communication, inclusivity, and collaboration
Has access to a computer, reliable internet, and a quiet space for virtual meetings
Is located in the Madison, WI area and available to attend 1–3 events/month as needed
Why You'll Love Working with LLS
At LLS, we’re all about people-first business. We empower creative entrepreneurs — especially women, queer folx, and other marginalized identities — to create sustainable, authentic success. We walk the talk with a culture of flexibility, boundaries, and radical respect.
You’ll be working directly with our founder, a former educator and operations expert who believes in collaborative systems, thoughtful mentorship, and creating a fun, low-drama work environment. We’re here to do meaningful work — not busy work — and to grow in a way that feels aligned.
This is a growth-oriented role. Over time, there may be opportunities to take on more hours, more responsibilities, or even shift into supporting clients directly.
