Job Description
What You'll Do:
You'll identify, evaluate, and communicate opportunities to mitigate risk, strengthen controls, and enhance customer value on larger more complex audit.
Subject Matter knowledge of and/or experience with the application of Federal regulatory requirements administered under EPA and associated state regulatory requirements.
Familiarity with recognized ESH management systems
Authoritative knowledge of and/or experience with the application of Federal regulatory requirements administered under EPA & OSHA and associated state regulatory requirements.
Evaluate and apply related federal and state regulatory requirements (e.g., DOT, NFPA, USCG,, NRC, et. al.) to assess applicability to a subject ESH process.
Understand and be able to apply recognized ESH management systems’ controls; ability to apply these objectives to multiple complex facility operations-
OR Delineate process objectives, analyze associated Environmental risks, and propose cost effective control solutions to manage those risks while considering multiple business objectives
Plan and conduct audits as assigned.
Complete portions of larger, more complex audits with minimal supervision.
Prepare complete, clear, and concise documentation of audit work performed and conclusions reached.
Prepare draft reports that are clear, concise, objective, and constructive.
Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with team members and clients.
Travel to corporate locations throughout the US approximately 40% of work schedule.
NERC CIP Access Qualifiable.
What We're Looking For:
Environmental Audit Consultant
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required.
Work Experience: Three (3) years minimum of related experience.
Would Be Nice to Have:
Advanced degree in a relevant field of study is preferred.
Relevant professional certification is preferred.
Environmental Audit Consultant Sr
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required.
Work Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
Licenses/Certifications: Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA) required
