Also is looking for a a Global Director of E-Commerce to own and scale our digital retail channel with a blended P&L approach that spans direct-to-consumer (DTC) and omnichannel retail partnerships.

What You Will Do

Co-lead the end-to-end design and build of the Also. global commerce site, working alongside Tech and Brand counterparts to define the digital customer journey, commercial architecture, and experience strategy.

Advocate for the customer throughout the design/build process, ensuring seamless UX, conversion-driven design, and operational readiness at launch.

Own and drive the global e-commerce P&L, with accountability for revenue, margin, customer acquisition, and lifetime value across all digital sales channels.

Develop and execute a scalable, global e-commerce strategy balancing DTC growth with strategic retail partnerships.

Lead digital merchandising, content, promotions, site operations, A/B testing, and CRO efforts across the U.S. and expanding international markets.

Analyze customer data, web analytics, and market trends to make data-informed decisions that improve performance and experience.

Oversee e-commerce technology stack choices and optimization; Shopify experience strongly preferred.

Manage and scale a team of digital marketers, developers, and e-commerce specialists; select and manage agency/partner relationships as needed.

Lead international expansion initiatives, including localization, cross-border logistics, and compliance considerations.

Foster tight collaboration across Tech, Brand, Product, and Retail to deliver a unified customer experience.

What You Will Bring

8–12+ years of progressive experience in e-commerce leadership, with direct P&L ownership in a global capacity.

Proven success building and scaling DTC businesses with omnichannel and retail partnership components.

Demonstrated experience leading an e-commerce site build or major re-platforming project.

Strong understanding of U.S.-centric commerce needs with global expansion experience.

Deep knowledge of modern e-commerce platforms and tools (Shopify Plus experience a plus).

Strong commercial and analytical acumen, able to translate customer behavior into business outcomes.

Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills, particularly across product, tech, brand, and operations functions.

Passion for mobility, sustainability, and innovation is a must.

The salary for this position ranges from $165,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
