The North Carolina Community College System (System Office) is a statewide network of 58 public community colleges. The system enrolls over 500,000 students annually. It is the 3rd largest in the nation based on the number of colleges. It also provides data to the North Carolina Learning Object Repository by collecting, contributing, and sharing digital learning resources for use in traditional or distance learning environments. We are looking for a highly motivated Office 365 Network Analyst to join our team of cloud engineers, information security officers, and user support specialists. This role is responsible for optimizing, securing, administration, and monitoring the network connectivity for Microsoft 365 services. This includes ensuring smooth performance for applications included in the Office 365 Productivity Suite. This role utilizes industry best practices to ensure availability, accessibility, adoption, compliance, and user support.
The recruitment salary is up to $77,126
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with State Benefits.

Configuration and administration skills for Office 365 such as features, settings, and user account management
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance measures for Office 365 such as data loss prevention, multifactor authentication, and conditional access policies
Training skills to optimize Office 365 application adoption
Platform and application migration, upgrade, integration, and deployment skills
Knowledge of security administrationManagement Preferences:
Industry recognized certifications with Microsoft Office 365
Ability to manage and maintain the Office 365 enterprise environment, including Office 365 Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and other Office 365 applications
Ability to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance
Ability to develop, maintain and update standard operating procedures
Ability to Monitor the health and performance of the Office 365 environment, ensuring high availability and reliability
Proven skills in managing Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID and identity and access management concepts
Knowledge of compliance and auditing tools such as Microsoft Purview, Sentinel, and retention policies
Ability to use PowerShell scripts to maintain and operate Office 365
Effective written and verbal skills
Ability to collaborate across functional and technical teams
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an IT related field from an appropriately accredited institution; or Associate degree in computer science, or a related technical field from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of networking related experience;
OR High School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four years of networking related experience;
OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
