Position Summary:

This third shift position is responsible for washing, rinsing, sanitizing, and setting up equipment for production in accordance with USDA guidelines. Qualified candidates will verify the floors and ceilings are free of condensation and ready for production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be able to lift/move 70+ pounds continuously.

Requires varying degrees of lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and overhead reaching.

Must be able to continuously perform simple manipulative tasks and occasionally difficult manipulative tasks.

Must be able to understand instructions and directions.

Ability to communicate well with coworkers (verbal and listening).

Possess basic mathematic skills.

Follow all policy and procedures (SQF, USDA, SAFETY, COMPANY, OSHA, GMP, SANITATION).

Requires standing on cement floor for the entire shift.

Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Machinery:

Breakers, grinders, screw conveyors, formers, cube tables, transfer tables, freeze tunnels, metal detectors, stackers, pack off tables and related equipment.

Mental Requirements:

Able to concentrate on minimal details with little interruption.

Able to attend to task/function for 60 minutes at a time.

Able to remember verbal and/or written task/assignment for an eight-hour shift.

Work Environment:

Temperature range of 40-80 degrees Fahrenheit.

Wet and humid environment.

Continuous moderate to high noise.

Exposure to shop environment such as noise, cold, damp, slippery environment, hot water, high pressure water and allergens (27-80 degrees).

Limited visibility due to cold and use of heat from water hoses.

Work Hours:

Third shift hours are 9:30PM - 6:00AM.

Must be available to work flexible hours Monday through Sunday including overtime.
