We are seeking a Lab Manager for a future funded role to maintain lab system infrastructure (e.g., desktop workstations, the lab computer network, server computers, backup systems, power and cooling systems, IT asset management systems, printers, scanners, and other peripherals).
Position requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required.
Required Skills:
Ability to Perform the Following:
Manage a diverse software development lab or similar environment such as a data center
Create and manage an IT and Asset management inventory database
Document lab and network configurations
Prepare hardware and software testing environments
Perform software installs and upgrades, hardware installs and upgrades, troubleshooting and maintaining Windows, UNIX, Linux, and/or proprietary environments
Manage software, hardware, licenses, and spare parts inventory
Perform operations, administration, maintenance, and provisioning (OAM&P) of networks
Perform networking in Internet Protocol {IP),X.25, or vendor proprietary environments
Qualifications: B.S. in a technical discipline and five (5) years' experience: installing, maintaining, and trouble-shooting various IT devices and lab environments to support development and testing for Windows, UNIX, and Linux; managing lab property and licenses; and performing or assisting with inventory efforts or nine (9) years' experience in lieu of degree.
