We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Healthcare Documentation Associate with 2+ years of experience to join our team of healthcare communication experts. In this role, you will transform audio medical dictations into precise, high-quality written records that support patient care. A commitment to accuracy of not less than 85%, timeliness, and ethical standards is essential to ensuring our records are both complete and reliable.
This work can be demanding, especially when audio quality is compromised, however, a strong commitment to accuracy and patient care drives every transcriptionist’s mission.
Responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Acts as primary oversight for all non-APM credits balances and refunds
Responsible for reviewing and approving all refunds before they are submitted to the client
Responsible for resolving escalated issues related to credit balances or refunds
Must be able to effectively track all refunds and report on them accurately
Communicates clearly and professionally with all other departments and clients
Sense of urgency
Ability to prioritize and follow a schedule
Broad knowledge of multiple practice management systems
Ability to analyze and understand payer EOB’s and clients managed care contracts/fee schedules Requirements:
