As a Full-Time Maintenance Technician at the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium, you can expect a dynamic and varied day-to-day experience. Your role will involve performing routine maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, electrical repairs, and equipment upkeep, and ensuring that all areas of the museum and aquarium are operating smoothly. You'll work a 4/10 schedule allowing ample time for both work and relaxation. This maintenance tech will be on 2nd shift (3:30 pm to 2:30 am)or 3rd shift (8:30 pm to 7:30 am).
Additionally, you'll conduct safety inspections, troubleshoot issues, and assist with special projects as needed. Your technical proficiency will be crucial in quickly addressing any maintenance challenges that arise, helping to uphold our high standards of excellence. Expect to collaborate with a dedicated team and engage with various departments to create a delightful experience for our visitors.
