Job Title: Behavioral Coach

Location: DeKalb County, GA and Rockdale County, GA

Job Type: In-Person

Job Summary:

The Behavior Aide will provide behavioral support and intervention services to youth and young adults, assisting in skill-building and behavior management across various settings. Responsibilities include transportation, supervised visitation, personal development coaching, and collaboration with care teams. The role requires timely documentation and adherence to company policies.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide transportation to DFCS-required appointments or services, including school, visitations, and placements.

Deliver skill-building and behavior management support in homes, schools, communities, and hotel settings as needed.

Collect urine, hair, saliva, or fingernail specimens for drug testing, following lab-approved protocols.

Supervise visitations for families working toward reunification.

Assist individuals with personal development, school/work performance, and social/family functioning.

Teach skills such as de-escalation techniques, communication strategies, and appropriate social behaviors.

Manage a caseload based on session frequency and direct service hours.

Work in community settings, including neighborhoods, homes, schools, and offices.

Collaborate with therapists, case managers, caregivers, schools, courts, and other involved entities.

Notify appropriate clinical staff or agency personnel before, during, or after crisis situations.

Maintain timely and accurate documentation of all case activities in compliance with policy.

Attend required agency meetings and training sessions.

Perform additional tasks assigned by the Director, including administrative, clerical, or office maintenance duties.

Requirements:

Must possess a valid Georgia Drivers License.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Must be comfortable working in diverse environments such as homes, schools, hotels, and the community.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to handle crisis situations with professionalism.
