Job Description

smartdept. is in search of a highly conceptual Sr. Graphic Designer for a nationally recognized client based in Lincolnshire, IL. This is a 3-month contract opportunity starting in early August that will be completely remote. This opportunity will be recurring each year. The pay for this position is expected to be $45-$52/hr depending on experience level.

What you’ll do:

Conceptualize, design, and execute multi-piece, integrated design campaigns from idea to completion, remaining very hands-on throughout its entirety

Support the design team in conceptualizing & design within brand standards through print and digital media

Work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage all responsibilities & timelines of assigned projects

What you’ll need:

5+ years of experience working on integrated campaigns spanning across print, digital, web, etc. with a stellar portfolio (showcasing corporate communications material)

Experience in a corporate environment, preferably the healthcare, insurance, or financial sector

Strong production skills

Extreme proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat

Experience creating tables and charts using all InDesign features

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Superb interpersonal skills; ability to be a team player
