Scrum Master/Project manager

Job Description

Hansen Talent Group is hiring a Scrum Master/Project Manager to work with a large enterprise in Columbia, SC.

What you'll do:

Serve as a Scrum and Agile expert, guiding teams through Agile best practices and frameworks.

Protect the team from external disruptions and maintain focus on sprint goals and priorities.

Collaborate closely with Product Owners and BAs to refine user stories, establish acceptance criteria, and ensure business value is delivered.

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and product reviews.

Resolve conflicts, identify risks, and manage competing priorities through strong communication and leadership skills.

Promote a high-performing, responsive team by using metrics, feedback, and continuous improvement practices.

Ensure Agile/Scrum processes align with internal SDLC standards.

Engage vendors and lead solution evaluations, including RFI/RFP processes and contract execution when needed.

Support or develop Business Cases, Statements of Work, and Product Roadmaps to align product strategy with business goals.

Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and teams on larger, cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Thorough knowledge of Agile\Scrum\Kanban principles.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to team and management.

Focuses on customer service, demonstrating a positive influence on cross-team working relationships.

Works to refine knowledge and skills.

Influences others and leads by example.

Able to manage competing demands sim; excellent organizational skills.
