UX/UI Designer

Development Integration - Remote (U.S. based)

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) seeks a talented UX/UI Designer to help take our digital properties to the next level. This designer will be innovative and creative, focusing on understanding consumer behavior and having a passion for creating outstanding, user-centered design. This position will research user behavior, create new digital experiences, and work on existing and new products. As a collaborative member of the marketing team, this role will further CBN’s mission and improve our ability to share the gospel with the nations.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in UX/UI design for web, mobile, and apps

Working knowledge of user-centered design principles, methodologies, and best practices

Experience leading user research for new and existing initiatives with the ability to validate designs through usability testing and experimentation for apps, websites, and mobile platforms

Advanced skills with Figma and Photoshop

Understanding of how HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end web languages and technologies function and how their strengths and limitations affect the user interface

Solid knowledge of mobile trends and creative advancements/technologies, both existing and in development

Possess a strong portfolio that demonstrates an ability to think through your design process to create a positive user experience

Demonstrate a refined aesthetic focused on usability, simplicity, and branding consistency

Strong ability to receive feedback, accept critique, provide options, and iterate on designs

Intuitive ability to analyze and evaluate creative concepts in conjunction with marketing strategy and objectives

Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish professional rapport with all levels of management, staff, and public

Self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as be a collaborative member of a team

Flexible with ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
