Docketing Specialist
(Any Fisher Phillips Office, Full-time, Remote)
Fisher Phillips, a premier international labor and employment law firm, is seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Docketing Specialist with advanced expertise in CompuLaw to join our firm-wide litigation support team. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of court and litigation docketing, ensuring critical deadlines are accurately calculated and tracked according to court rules and procedures. The ideal candidate will work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment supporting attorneys and staff across multiple offices nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter, maintain, and monitor all court and administrative deadlines using CompuLaw.
Analyze court documents (e.g., complaints, summons, motions, notices) to accurately calculate and calendar all applicable deadlines.
Maintain court calendars and ensure attorneys and staff receive timely reminders and reports.
Perform regular audits of docket entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with jurisdictional rules.
Stay current on court rule changes at federal, state, and local levels; update rules databases in CompuLaw as needed.
Liaise with attorneys, legal assistants, and litigation teams to ensure appropriate docketing procedures are followed.
Train and support new users on CompuLaw functionality and docketing protocols.
Assist with subpoena and deposition tracking, hearing schedules, and other litigation-related events.
Qualifications:
Minimum 7-10 years of docketing experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
Expert-level knowledge of CompuLaw required.
In-depth understanding of civil litigation procedures, court rules (federal and state), and deadlines.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a remote, multi-office environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook, Excel, and Word).
Familiarity with electronic filing systems (e.g., CM/ECF, PACER) a plus.
Education:
Associate or bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.
Work Environment:
This is a fully remote position open to candidates nationwide.
Must have a reliable internet connection and be able to work standard business hours aligned with the firm’s needs.

The hourly rate range for this position is $32.70 - $48.00. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, location, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
