has an opening for a Silicone Production Supervisor at our manufacturing facility in Chandler, AZ.

Seeking a Silicone Production Supervisor at our sealant plant in Chandler, AZ.

This is a working supervisor role that oversees the manufacturing of all silicone products, personnel, and equipment.

The supervisor ensures silicone products are made in accordance to production schedules and guidelines (formulation instructions) set by the engineering department and also operates the production equipment to make batches of product.

The supervisor manages other silicone mix operators and trains others in proper silicone manufacturing, as needed.

Specific Duties include: Coordinate and execute all silicone production steps to ensure an efficient, on schedule, and safe work environment.

Develop and supervise a cross-trained work force to perform a variety of duties within the silicone department.

Mix various raw materials per batch forms and follow all instructions created by silicone engineering.

Identify process improvements and/or errors and make recommendations to the Plant Manager regarding equipment, tools, fixtures, processes and personnel.

Maintain established quality standards for packaging, labeling, palletizing, handling and storage of Crafco products.

Coordinate with Purchasing to order and maintain appropriate levels of supplies and materials.

Manage accurate inventory counts of all silicone supplies and cost-effectiveness.

Weekly cycle counts shall be taken and proper adjustments made through the inventory control department.

Qualifications include, but not limited to: High School Diploma or GED Minimum 3 years experience with production supervision in manufacturing or plant operations Quality certifications, Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Continuous Improvement backgrounds are preferred Computer Proficiency including email, Word, Excel, and MS Office applications and proprietary systems Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role such as standing for long periods of time, bending, and/or lifting.

May work with adverse conditions such as strong odor from materials.

Ability to safely lift 50 lbs.

Working knowledge and understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and requirements preferred.
