Software Engineer

Venesco LLC is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support the Department of the Interior ITSS BERT Program.

As the Senior Software Engineer you will:

Design, develop, and maintain ongoing support of the BERT application

Provide technical guidance to a team of Programmer Analysts

Work with the Project Manager to ensure work is completed in satisfactory and timely manner

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science

Ten (10) or more years of experience in system design, development and maintenance

Seven (7) or more years Federal accounting systems experience

Working knowledge of the United States Standard General Ledger (USSGL) accounts (specifically the budgetary general ledger accounts (400 series))

Working knowledge of Treasury’s SF 133 crosswalks

Public Trust Clearance eligibility
