Senior Palantir Data Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Palantir Data Engineer to join our team, focusing on onboarding new projects and developing customized data pipelines and Foundry infrastructure for our customers. This role requires extensive experience in data engineering, a deep understanding of Palantir Foundry, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.

Note: Due to the nature of our current contracts, we are unable to consider candidates requiring visa sponsorship or those seeking Corp-to-Corp (C2C) arrangements. Only candidates eligible to work directly for JR Software Solutions, Inc. on a W-2 or 1099 basis will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop efficient and scalable data pipelines and Foundry infrastructure for diverse client needs.

Integrate and onboard new client projects into the Palantir Foundry ecosystem.

Perform data modeling, and execute ETL processes using programming languages such as Python, PySpark, and SQL.

Optimize data pipeline performance to ensure high system reliability and efficiency.

Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment with project goals.

Support the development and dissemination of AI/ML training and informational materials.

Assist in coordinating CDC's AI/ML strategy and enterprise roadmap implementation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Palantir Foundry.

5+ years of experience developing and optimizing data pipelines and infrastructure.

Proven expertise in integrating new projects into Palantir Foundry.

Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and ETL processes.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is highly preferred.

Palantir Foundry certifications or training are advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Palantir Foundry certifications or previous Palantir trainings are highly preferred.

Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices.
