Oral Surgeon, Full-Time Faculty

BronxCare Health System, a major teaching hospital and health system, now has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Faculty Attending position in its Department of Dentistry (Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery). Responsibilities include supervising Oral Surgery Residents as well as rotating General Practice and Pediatric Dental Residents in the oral surgery practice, operating room, and emergency room.

Additional responsibilities include performing on-call duties and collaborating with BronxCare’s Department of Family Medicine in the management of oral and maxillofacial surgery inpatients.

BronxCare’s Department of Dentistry provides full-scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including implant reconstruction, treatment of dental trauma and pathology, TM Joint reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, and dentoalveolar surgery.

Qualified candidates must have a DDS or DMD degree, DEA certification, BLS/ACLS/PALS certification, NYSED certificate for General Anesthesia, completion of a CODA-approved residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and board certification/board eligibility.
