Material Handler/Nights

NaphCare is seeking a Material Handler to work at our Pharmacy Department located at our Corporate Office in Birmingham, AL.

This is an evening shift from 12pm to 9pm Monday through Friday.

The Material Handler is in charge of shipping, receiving, and inventory movement within the facility.

ResponsibilitiesReceive materials and store in correct locationAppropriately package outgoing shipments for deliveryAssist with the timely fulfillment and delivery of productsWork with team members to meet set goalsLoad and unload pallets and individual cases from trucks, as well as collecting empty pallet boardsAssist in weekly product inventoryManaging inventory by identifying, cataloging, and recording the location of inventoryPerforming stock checks to rotate product and remove out of date drugs on a monthly basisOther duties as instructed per manager Qualifications18 years of age or olderAbility to lift more than 75 pounds consistently without assistanceAble to stand or walk for extended periods of timeAble to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods of timeAvailability to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and eveningsReliable attendanceProfessional organizational and communication skills.
