We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate medical provider (NP or PA) for a bread-and-butter correctional medicine assignment.

This 1099 locum tenens opportunity is ideal for providers who want to work autonomously in a structured clinic environment with a consistent and manageable patient load.

What You’ll Do:Provide general medical care to an average of 18–20 patients per dayPerform minor procedures such as laceration repair, suturing, and toenail removalWork within a multidisciplinary team in a secure, fully staffed clinicUse Hero EMR for documentation What’s Provided:Travel and lodging accommodations coveredMalpractice coverage Dedicated support from an experienced locums agency team Qualifications:Active, unrestricted NC medical license (state-specific requirements may apply)Comfortable practicing independently in a correctional settingPrevious primary care and/or urgent care experience preferredStrong procedural skills Why This Role?
