Primary Care Advanced Practice Provider

A multi-specialty group in Rockland County is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their growing team!About the Opportunity:Location: Spring Valley, NYSchedule: Flexible 8-12 hour shifts, 37.5 hours/weekCall: one week every other monthResponsibilities: The Advanced Practice Provider will:Take histories, perform physical examinations, and prescribe treatment and medication for conditionsDesign and participate in quality improvement activities, including Medical Record Peer Review, performance and procedure audits, outcome audits, and focused reviewsCoordinate tests, referrals, and care of patients outside the centerMaintain legible and appropriate documentation of medical recordsParticipate and attend provider meetingsPerform other duties, as needed Qualifications:Active New York State Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
