Section Head - Pediatric Interventional Cardiology

The Executive & Academic Search team with Doximity Talent Solutions has partnered with Manning Family Children’s Hospital in New Orleans on the national search for an outstanding physician leader to serve as Section Head for Pediatric Interventional Cardiology with LSU Health New Orleans School of Medicine.

This incoming Section Head will also hold the role of the Director of the Cath Lab at Manning Family Children‘s Hospital.

As Clinical Director of Interventional Cardiology, the incoming leader will join an impressive team of faculty at The Heart Center within Manning Family Children’s Hospital.

This faculty team consists of 18 full-time pediatric cardiologists (including 6 cardiac intensivists), 2 accomplished pediatric cardiovascular surgeons, and 5 dedicated pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists.

The Heart Center represents sub-specialty expertise in Pediatric and Fetal Imaging, Electrophysiology, Interventional Cardiology, Cardiac Intensive Care, and Adult Congenital Cardiology.

It is affiliated with both the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans and the Tulane University School of Medicine and employs 5 pediatric cardiology fellows.

The Heart Center is proud to be part of the only freestanding quaternary care children’s hospital in New Orleans and Louisiana, and the top academic heart program in the state of Louisiana.

The successful candidate for the role of Section Head, Interventional Cardiology will have demonstrated clinical excellence in interventional cardiology as well as academic success.

You will be responsible for continued development and growth in leading a comprehensive state-of-the-art interventional cardiology program at Manning Family Children’s Hospital.
