We are looking for an experienced Sr. Salesforce Developer to join our team in Woodbridge, New Jersey. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the design, development, and optimization of Salesforce solutions to meet business needs. This is a fully remote position, with a preference for candidates located in Eastern or Central time zones.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and enhance Salesforce solutions to align with organizational goals.

• Act as a subject matter expert for Salesforce, providing technical guidance to internal teams.

• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement effective solutions.

• Design and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other platforms using APIs, REST, and SOAP.

• Lead the governance of Salesforce development to ensure best practices and platform optimization.

• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, ensuring smooth and efficient system performance.

• Utilize tools such as Atlassian Jira and GitHub to manage projects and track issues.

• Support Agile Scrum processes, contributing to sprints and iterative development cycles.

• Mentor and guide less experienced developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

• Stay updated on the latest Salesforce features and technologies to recommend improvements.• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce.

• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required; Developer II certification is a plus.

• Proven experience in API development, including REST and SOAP integrations.

• Strong proficiency with Salesforce Lightning Platform and Salesforce APIs.

• Background in backend development and familiarity with tools like Ajax and ASP.NET.

• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments and using tools such as Jira and GitHub.

• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing or mentoring team members.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
