Full Stack Engineer

Job Description

Akkodis is seeking aFull Stack Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Chicago, IL (Hybrid). Responsibilities include designing and developing cloud-native applications and microservices, deploying applications using containers and Kubernetes, and collaborating with the team on technical solutions and code reviews.

Rate Range: $54/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Full Stack Engineer job responsibilities include:

Designing and developing functional features, systems, and APIs in collaboration with other developers.

Challenging the status quo by finding better ways to solve technical problems and design solutions.

Identifying technical solutions that provide business value while minimizing technical debt.

Participating in RD and proof of concept (POC) for key features before active development.

Creating working examples to enable the development organization.

Collaborating with Wealth Lead Architecture Groups to ensure alignment.

Participating in code reviews, pair programming, and solving problems collaboratively.

Integrating existing software systems with relevant data sources.

Writing unit and integration tests and developing automation tools for daily tasks.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

8 to 11 years of development experience in Java, Spring Boot, React JS, and JavaScript.

Strong experience in designing and building cloud-native applications and microservices, preferably using Azure.

Expertise in deploying and hosting applications using containers and Kubernetes.

Pay Details: $54.00 to $56.00 per hour
