Associate - Energy & Emissions

This full time in office role in Southern California will support our energy and emissions data, benchmarking, and compliance teams; specifically under our Manager of Energy & Sustainability.

Responsibilities:

Support our Manager of Energy & Sustainability.

Data input, extraction, and organization.

Utilize company software systems to track energy and emissions data.

Maintain GHG emissions and energy data inventories.

Collect, organize, and validate data to support energy accounting and emissions calculations.

Utility and vendor data requests.

Database onboarding with campus and facility mapping.

Support climate disclosures.

Coordinate with customers to identify data gaps and risk exposure areas.

Support, develop, and implement internal policies for energy and emissions monitoring and compliance.

Monitor state and federal energy and climate regulations.

Contribute to the development of energy and emissions improvement frameworks and climate risk governance.

Provide ongoing technical and analytical support.

Knowledge & Skills:

Basic understanding of energy, utilities, and emissions.

Data entry experience.

Experience with Excel.

Comfortable with software and web-based applications.

Highly accurate, organized, and detail-oriented.
