What You’ll Do:
Create and coordinate content for email, social media, website, blog, print, and more to spotlight events, programs, and community impact
Collaborate with staff across departments to turn their work into compelling stories
Keep event and program calendars updated to ensure community-wide awareness
Support email marketing campaigns and analyze basic performance metrics
Help schedule and monitor social media posts, ensuring timely and engaging content
Ensure all messaging aligns with our mission, tone, and brand standards
Capture and curate visual content at events (photography/video) to share across platforms
Conduct light research on marketing trends or community engagement strategies
Occasionally support evening or weekend events for on-site content collection
This is a full time position that pays $31.00 to $33.50 per hour and we have an extensive total compensation package that you can review here:
Requirements
Education/Experience:
· 2–3 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or content development role
· Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
· Proficiency with content management systems (e.g., WordPress), email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact), and social media platforms
· Familiarity with basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Collaborative team player with strong communication and organizational skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred
Other Skills
· Basic level experience with SEO best practices and Google Analytics (preferred)
· Familiarity with CRM tools and marketing automation platforms (preferred)
· Experience with photography and video production (preferred)
