Responsible for assigned clinical areas to assure quality improvement, financial performance and human resource management direction.
Responsibilities
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(*Essential Functions)
Collaborates with co-directors and managers to develop continuing education and competency programs to meet standards of practice.
Develops and implements a strategic and operational plan for service areas that address quality improvement, financial performance, human resource management, information management and patient satisfaction.
Develops and implements a structure that integrates physicians into decision making with significant involvement in strategic planning.
Meets all regulatory and accreditation requirements and quality measures in collaboration with other disciplines, departments and managers.
Responsible and accountable for implementing, monitoring and achieving the highest outcomes of nursing sensitive indicators with a reporting relationship to the CNO for nursing quality outcomes.
Qualifications
JOB SPECIFICATIONS(Minimum Requirements) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of finance practices and principles.
Good computer skills.
Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical and presentation skills.
Ability to analyze data and develop action plans.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Demonstrates clinical expertise for assigned area.
Demonstrates courteous, kind, caring, compassionate, positive attitude and support to the organization. EDUCATION
A Master's Degree from a recognized college or university in Nursing or a closely related field is required.
