Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated 1st shift CNC Mill Machinist who will be responsible for operating various horizontal and vertical mills. The ideal candidate will expertly read and interpret in-depth blueprints, complete offsets, change tooling, and utilize precision measurement tools. You will work with tight tolerances and ensure parts meet client specifications. Experience with Fanuc controls and G/M Code is essential.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain various horizontal and vertical CNC mills.
Read and interpret detailed blueprints accurately.
Perform offsets and tooling changes as necessary.
Utilize precision measurement tools to ensure accuracy.
Work with tight tolerances of +/- .0008.
Ensure all parts meet specified client requirements.Essential Skills
5+ years of experience with CNC Mills (Vertical or Horizontal).
Proficient in working with Fanuc controls and G/M Codes.
Experience with tolerances of +/- .0008.
Ability to perform setups and adjustments.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Experience with micrometers, calipers, and depth mics.
Ability to maneuver 350 lb castings with hoist assistance.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience using dial gauges.
NIMS Certification in CNC Machining.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elkhart, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
