Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee and manage all accounting operations for our organization in Olive Branch, Mississippi. This role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, overseeing compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the organization’s financial planning processes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting systems, financial analysis, and team leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.

• Coordinate and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Prepare for and lead the organization through annual audits, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.

• Manage sales tax and property tax processes, including preparation, filing, and compliance.

• Develop and monitor budgets, providing insights and recommendations to support financial planning.

• Utilize accounting software systems and tools, such as Crystal Reports and ADP Financial Services, to streamline financial operations.

• Analyze financial data and present reports to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering growth and ensuring high performance.• Proven experience in accounting and financial management, with a strong background in accounts payable, receivable, and auditing.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems and tools, including 3M, ADP Financial Services, and Crystal Reports.

• Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and their integration with financial processes.

• Strong understanding of tax compliance, including sales tax and property tax regulations.

• Demonstrated ability to manage budgeting processes and provide financial analysis.

• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with experience supervising accounting teams.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
