Overview
As a Patient Follow-Up Representative, you will serve as a key point of contact for patients with outstanding medical balances. Your role is focused on delivering a supportive and non-aggressive experience while helping patients navigate their financial responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Handling inbound calls from patients regarding outstanding balances
Making outbound calls to inform and assist patients with payment options
Accurately entering and updating patient and account information
Providing clear, empathetic communication in every interaction
Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Documenting call outcomes and account updates in internal systems
Collaborating with team members to ensure a seamless patient experienceQualifications:
Medical collections, billing or follow-up experience
Strong customer service skills
Positive and professional demeanor
