Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative for our client in New Orleans, Louisiana. This position offers an excellent opportunity to support a non-profit organization by providing exceptional service and assistance to clients. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to quickly learn housing-related programs such as Low-Income Tax Credit Housing and Fair Housing policies. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to inbound calls, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.

• Assist clients in understanding housing programs, including Low Income Tax Credit Housing and Fair Housing.

• Maintain accurate records by entering data into internal systems and processing updates as needed.

• Handle email correspondence, ensuring timely and clear communication with clients and stakeholders.

• Schedule appointments and manage calendars efficiently to support team operations.

• Provide support for both inbound and outbound call activities, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

• Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to create and manage documents and reports.

• Process order entries and ensure all information is recorded accurately and in compliance with organizational standards.

• Proven experience in a call center or customer service environment.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to resolve issues effectively.

• Familiarity with housing programs such as Low-Income Tax Credit Housing and Fair Housing is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word and Excel.

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.

• Experience handling both inbound and outbound calls is an asset.

• Knowledge of scheduling and appointment management is a plus.
