Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including those escalated from Level 1 and Level 2 support teams.
• Design and implement integration solutions using WebSphere MQ in a complex enterprise environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers and system administrators, to ensure smooth operation of IT infrastructure.
• Implement and manage security measures to safeguard IT systems against cyber threats and ensure policy compliance.
• Provide expert-level support and guidance on server-to-server communication within large-scale networks.
• Enhance IT self-service and automation capabilities, focusing on scalability and efficiency.
• Utilize ticketing systems to manage and resolve IT issues effectively while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Work with both Windows and Linux environments to support diverse IT infrastructure needs.• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with IBM WebSphere MQ, including troubleshooting and designing integration solutions.
• Proficiency in both Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Familiarity with workflow tools and ticketing systems to manage tasks and issues.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekends, or split shifts.
• Basic understanding of server-to-server communication and large-scale IT network environments.
